Project Summary
There is a pressing need to better understand the economic and social circumstances experienced by households in different regions of Western Australia. This project is based on the need for a base range of measurable indicators for tracking the economic, social, demographic and environmental aspects of regional development in Western Australia. The project seeks to identify and collate social, economic, demographic and natural resource data sets relevant to regional development, and through this, construct a set of regional development indicators. The project will assist in the development of a suite of web-based graphics and applications with which regional indicator data can best be presented and analysed.
