Hon Simone McGurk MLA

Since its inception, this research series has added significant findings to the national and international evidence base around what works to deliver greater gender equality across Australia’s biggest workplaces through expert analyses and research based on the world-leading WGEA reporting data.

On Friday 26 March we are holding a breakfast to launch the sixth report in the series, Gender Equity Insights 2021: Making it a Priority, with special guest speaker the Hon Simone McGurk, Minister for Child Protection; Women’s Interests; Prevention of Family and Domestic Violence; Community Services.

This new report uncovers fresh insights about what works to improve gender equality across Australia’s largest workplaces by identifying the top performers in gender equity, while also highlighting the risks and challenges to achieving gender equality in workplaces in the years ahead.

Join us for breakfast with our expert panel: Libby Lyons, Director, Workplace Gender Equality Agency; Graham Kerr, Chief Executive Officer, South32; Associate Professor Rebecca Cassells, Deputy Director, BCEC; and John Curtin Distinguished Professor Alan Duncan, Director, BCEC, in a facilitated conversation with Tracy Vo, Journalist, Presenter and Author.

Rebecca Cassells and Alan Duncan will present the latest findings from the BCEC|WGEA Gender Equity Insights 2021: Making it a Priority report.
