Project Summary
Financial Counsellors’ Association of Western Australia (FCAWA) is seeking research to build a stronger evidence base about the economic and social value of financial counselling in Western Australia, and to better understand the outcomes it achieves, where it has the greatest impact, and how those impacts can be measured and demonstrated to governments, funders and communities.
BCEC will undertake a comprehensive review of existing evidence, examine financial hardship trajectories using longitudinal data, and identify priority areas for future evaluation and data development. The goal is to create a robust and policy-relevant evidence base that can support future decision-making and investment.
