Our very own Chris Twomey “Wins the Waves in WA!”
A weekend trip to the Batavia coastline in Geraldton has seen Chris Twomey claim three fantastic paddle boarding titles, setting him up nicely to captain the state team for the National titles in October at Phillip Island, Victoria.
The North Freo Stand Up Surf Shop WA Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) Titles, held at Sunset Beach and Back Beach provided Chris with the ideal conditions to “surf” away with two fantastic 2019 state champion titles.
Chris was placed first in: 2019 SUP Open Men’s and 2019 WA SUP Over-40’s Men’s.
In addition, he also secured third place in the 2019 WA SUP Over-50 Men’s a title he previously held in 2018!
A big well done to Chris from the BCEC team and the best of luck for the National titles in October!
