Dr Daniel Kiely, Senior Research Fellow at the Bankwest Curtin Economics Centre, has successfully graduated from Leadership WA’s prestigious Signature Leadership Program.

Daniel began the program, designed for senior leaders looking to develop their own courageous and authentic leadership style, in early 2020.

Despite the interruption of the course delivery due to the global pandemic, Daniel and his fellow participants stayed the course, earning the nickname the ‘COVID-19 Cohort’ for their dedication to completing the program.

“What a rich experience it was at a time when good leadership is so important across our organisations, states and world,” Daniel said.

“By engaging in critical challenges and issues facing our state, the program shed particular light on the values I hold and how important these are for authentic leadership. Through my experiences, I also reflected on how my values align with those set out by Curtin University and the importance of upholding these on a daily basis.”

A warm congratulations to Daniel for becoming a Fellow of LeadershipWA Signature Leadership Program and for doing so during such globally tumultuous times.
