Gender Issues in Labour Economics

The Australian Journal of Labour Economics (AJLE) intends to publish a 2022 Special Issue on gender issues in the labour market in the Australasian and is calling for submissions for consideration for inclusion in this issue (Volume 25 No 2 2022).

The AJLE is published three times as year and recent Special Issues have covered the COVID-19 pandemic and its impacts on the labour market, both generally and with an emphasis on gender issues which were published in September 2020 and 2021.

The AJLE, the official journal of the Australian Society of Labour Economists, is a forum for the analysis of labour economics and labour relations. It is particularly focused on theoretical and policy developments in respect of Australian labour markets.

Leading academic economists contribute to the journal, covering a broad range of labour supply and demand issues affecting workers, businesses and government.

Past issues and style guidelines for manuscript submissions can be found here.

Please email submissions to: ajle@curtin.edu.au by 30 April 2022.
