State of the Economy Lunch
The Western Australian economy has so far proven to be more resilient than those of the other states and territories in the face of the COVID pandemic.
Early signs point to a strong economic recovery on the back of the state’s ability to both control the virus and sustain business activity against the odds.
As the global economic outlook improves, how should WA best position itself to progress an economic agenda of jobs, growth, trade and business diversification?
Join us for lunch with guest speaker the Hon. Ben Wyatt MLA, Treasurer; Minister for Finance; Aboriginal Affairs; and Lands, to discuss the outlook for the WA economy.
In a conversation hosted by 6PR’s Gareth Parker, the Treasurer will then be joined by Bankwest Executive General Manager Sinead Taylor, Business News 40under40 First Amongst Equals winner Rachael Ferguson and Bankwest Curtin Economics Centre Director Alan Duncan.
The event will be anchored by a special presentation from Bankwest Curtin Economics Centre researchers Daniel Kiely and Silvia Salazar on the state of the WA economy, including the outlook for business.
