Biography
Valentina is research assistant with the Bankwest Curtin Economic Centre. She is in the process of completing her master’s degree in Commerce of Information Systems and Technology with a major in data analysis and visualisation at Curtin University.
Valentina has a bachelor’s degree in international business and economics. Her studies have been centred on international commerce, with a particular interest in identifying new opportunities for Colombia within the dynamism of global trade. Her bachelor’s thesis focused on identifying opportunities for Pacific Alliance member countries, and her first-place dissertation focused on Australia as a potential entry for Colombia in the Asia-Pacific dynamics. Her current studies approach consists on combining technical expertise with cutting-edge technologies to offer fresh ways to deliver information.
Valentina assists with the Centre’s Monthly Labour Market Update and different projects within the centre.
