Biography

Panos is a Research Fellow at the Bankwest Economics Centre at Curtin University.

Panos completed his PhD in Economics at Deakin University.

Prior to that, he obtained a M.Sc. in Applied Economics and Data Analysis and a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Patras, Greece.

Panos’s research interests are directed towards labour economics, health and well-being, public policy, and applied microeconomics.

He has published articles in leading academic journals including Journal of Business Venturing and Applied Economics.

Panos is currently working on topics investigating the causal effects of minimum wage increases on health and well-being.

He is also working on understanding which policies are effective in promoting the economic and social assimilation of immigrants.
