Biography

Brigette is the founder and CEO of Powerhouse Renewables Group, a company at the forefront of sustainable energy solutions, based in the Pilbara Region.

With over 15 years of experience in the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) sector, Brigette has spent the past decade dedicated to advancing the energy and renewables industry.

Her expertise spans across developing innovative energy projects, driving sustainability initiatives, and leading high-impact collaborations.

In 2018, Brigette co-founded Cheeditha Energy in partnership with Yindjibarndi elders in Roebourne. This initiative was not only a step forward in sustainable energy but the beginning of her mission to empower First Nations communities.

Brigette has consistently worked to ensure that these communities play a pivotal role in the energy transition, advocating for their inclusion and equity in the rapidly evolving energy landscape.

In 2023, recognising the untapped potential of Western Australia’s regional innovation ecosystem, Brigette co-founded Seed Innovation Foundation.

This organisation is dedicated to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in WA’s prosperous regions, providing a platform for emerging businesses and ideas to thrive.

Brigette holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University and is currently studying a Graduate Diploma of Energy and Carbon Studies at Murdoch University.

Her passion for regional development is not just professional but deeply personal.

Living, working, and raising her family in regional WA, Brigette is a steadfast advocate for the economic and social prosperity of these areas.
