Applications are now open for the BCEC Economics and Social Policy Scholarship.

Undergraduate and postgraduate students with a demonstrated interest and passion for economics and social policy, and who do not have the financial means to attend university, are encouraged to apply for the scholarship.

The scholarship supports the educational costs with attending university, with a $2,500 stipend each semester, for the expected duration of the degree (up to 3 years).

Join BCEC’s team, including PhD scholars and researchers, who are committed to making a difference to the wellbeing of West Australian families, businesses and communities.

Generous funding for the scholarship comes from event registration fees at BCEC report launches. As a BCEC Scholar, you will have the opportunity to attend these BCEC events and to participate in media or marketing opportunities, where required.

The scholarship supports broadening access to tertiary education for those traditionally under-represented at university, and reflects Bankwest’s commitment to community development and the Centre’s aim to improve the lives of West Australians.

Applications for 2018 are now closed.
